Third in the series, it rewards readers who've followed the earlier books, though the marriage-of-convenience setup works as its own contained story. A bisexual widower torn between grief for one partner and real feeling for another, with a second-chance thread layered on top. It's a trope-stacked romance in the best sense.
Content note: sex scenes are explicit and detailed, consistent with the mature rating. Mistaken identity plays into the plot's complications alongside the marriage-of-convenience setup, so expect misunderstandings that could resolve faster with one honest conversation.
