Dominus, an incubus who runs a brothel called The Twig and Berries, has become bored with his life and his customers alike.Sebastian, a changeling fairy swapped at birth for a human infant, has just learned his true heritage. Reeling with the knowledge, and unsafe among humans, he lets a vampire guide him north through Hungary to a place where he can meet others of his kind.Along the way, Sebastian must stay with Dominus for safe keeping for a few weeks, which is fine with Dominus. Sebastian is the first person who's truly tweaked his interest in a long time. Until he learns Sebastian is a faerie, and Dominus despises faeries.Forced together anyway, they'll have to make the best of it. Meanwhile, trespassers infiltrate the territory and must be dealt with. Why are they here? What to they want?Regardless of Dominus's feeling toward Sebastian, it's his responsibility to protect the faerie while under his roof. But it's impossible to protect a charge he can't trust.
