Matt Justin seems to have it all. In high school his dedication and good looks won him the nickname “the all American boy“. Hard work on his farm kept his body life and trim and his wife and young son would be the envy of many men in Willow Glen.

But Matt Justin knows that he doesn’t really have it all. His marriage was a mistake, an automatic following of social custom that had nothing to do with his real needs. His own deepest passions have been buried for too long, and are now struggling to escape.

When a new minister and his family moved to Willow Glen, Matt at last find someone with whom he can truly be happy; together, they make plans for a better life together. But neither Matt nor his new friend has counted on just how destructive a Bible thumping preacher can be when he feels threatened by a lifestyle he cannot understand…
