This anthology is a pioneering collection of erotic fiction by various writers. Included is Peck's novella 'Equus and Elf Boy', with its Tolkien-like world of intelligent stallions (reminiscent of 'Voyage to the Country of the Houyhnhnms' in Swift's Gulliver's Travels), and the men they love in full thrust.
