Silent Partners
Geoffrey Bent details a first-person account of necrophilia through Warren Pierce, the book's protagonist. After Warren's girlfriend is killed at the start of the book, he develops a morbid and insatiable appetite for the dead that drives his sexual odyssey throughout the book. Silent Partners begins in a small town whose inhabitants are pervaded with a weird loopiness. Among them is his mother whose face is disfigured by deep purple marks and his delusional buddy who has a make believe friend. Soon Pierce moves to the Big City where his new business venture feeds his appetite.
