The Lake Whisperer

Homicide detective Blue Stryker and treasure hunter Dallyn Wolfe are surprised by their chemistry as they join forces to find out why the bodies of teenage girls are turning up in New Hampshire's Lake Winnipesaukee. Dallyn is still getting used to her new name, reinvented life, and hard-won freedom. When she discovers a body at the bottom of the lake, the ensuing investigation brings her unwanted attention and forces her to put everything on the line. Her attraction to Blue consumes her as she struggles to keep her past a secret.

Blue meets Dallyn, a newcomer adept at finding bodies underwater when Search and Rescue fails. A killer is using the lake as his dumping ground, and Dallyn is the key to finding his victims. But Dallyn's getting ready to skip town. It's up to Blue to find out what she's running from so she'll stay and finish the job.
