The Transgender Child: A Handbook for Families and Professionals
TW note: a large portion covers parents who are not ready to accept their child and abusive parenting practices. this content could be upsetting or triggering, as it contains quotes and from parents speaking of how they have rejected or physically attacked their children. this book does do an excellent job of addressing these issues however, and encouraging resistant parents to seek help, change their views, and access resources cited in the text. I highly recommend this title for parents who are struggling, yet seeking help. for parents further along with accepting their children who still want validation and emotional support for themselves, I recommend Raising the Transgender Child and Becoming an Ally to the Gender Expansive Child
