Through Shadows Falling

by Robert Wallis

Not yet rated

Stephen, twenty-five, spends his days in his studio working to distract himself from the depression that occasionally takes him into silence since the death of his father several years ago and the death of his mother in his youth. On a day, away from his art, he is introduced to David, seemingly a young man with the usual banalities and distractions on his mind. Stephen finds a sudden friendship with the youth, unaware that he is serving a purpose. David wishes to escape his mother and her sudden swings of violence. Although confused by his actions, David begins to explore his sexuality, encouraging the willing Stephen into a relationship, which quickly threatens to bury him in darkness; a place all too familiar, and one which he will take desperate action to avoid. As David's secrets begin to build and the summer slowly dies, the blood begins to fall.
